But then I remember that there are so many things I taught myself artistically that I had no desire to learn beforehand as a result of it.

Even if I’ve had to unlearn a lot of bad practices over the years, by drawing what I like/enjoy I’ve steadily made the efforts to pick up the things I’ve needed. Except things like really clean/precise lineart, I haven’t developed the patience/control for that

No, seriously. One of the reasons I stuck with lineless paintings was because lineart annoyed me so much
